Two-Dimensional Acoustic Simulation
Software to Predict Line Array Behavior
EASE Focus allows simulating Delta Loudspeakers
SA’s line arrays in two dimensions. Please note that
only the direct sound field can be simulated (propagation
in a medium which is unbounded in every direction). Please
refer to other simulation tools for three dimensional simulation
in which the sound propagation is bounded e.g. walls, ceiling,
and floor (e.g. Ease or Odeon).
Ease Focus provides:
• auto-splay function and array presets: line, J,
and curved array (menu: edit/array presets)
• venue presets for open air, hall, small and large
arena, and theatre (menu: edit/ venue presets)
• fast and simple definition of the audience area
(menu: view/audience areas properties)
• SPL mapping for rms, program, peak, flat (menu:
view/mapping properties – untick SPL mapping for quick
estimations in window)
• fast and flexible positioning of the line array
(menu: system set-up)
• fast and simple import of LA 2005 measurement data
if EASE Focus installation does not contain the LA 2005.efo
file (menu: edit/import system definition file). It is recommended
to save this file in e.g. Program Files\SDA\EASE Focus\System
Definitions.
• fast and simple alteration of the view, scaling,
printing properties, reference lines, ear heights, frequency
response and directories (right mouse click in main window,
note: ear height default is 1.80 m)
• fast and simple export of projects (menu: file/Create
Print Version)
Software and System Files
The software and the system files (EASE focus LA2005 21.02.06)
can be found in the download section of the flash version
(user log-in needed) [www.deltaloudspeakers.com/default.htm]
Please note: • uninstall previous versions before
installing the new version.
• Save the LA2005_20.02.2006.xfo and the LA2005_20.02.2006.efo
files in the System Definition folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\SDA\EASE
Focus\System Definitions) before using the software
