Description
The VA 1602 is a svelte voice line array module (modular column speaker).
This system is designed to enhance the direct sound to improve the speech
intelligibility in strongly reverberant environment such as houses of worship.
The system is based on sixteen two-inch full range inverted aluminium magnesium
dome transducers with 25 mm voice coils integrated in a sealed enclosure.
The enclosure is of rectangular shape and manufactured with 15 mm Finnish
birch plywood glued together in conjunction with dado joints to assure the
highest quality of robustness. The drivers are protected by an acoustically
transparent fabric cover. Two Neutrik Speakon® male connectors assure
reliable electrical connections and the possibility to feed the signal through
the system. The white textured semi-matt paint makes the enclosure water repellent.
The system is to be mounted vertically and equipped with steel insert for
the use of a OmniMount® system. For music reinforcement it is recommended
to extend the low frequency range with subwoofers such as the compact bandpass
LF BP1015.
